What Else Matters?

It's not your everyday Saturday. We've been watching the snow fall since about 10:00 this morning. It just does something inside your heart to see the ground all lit up pretty and white. The boys have been playing in the white stuff for the past several hours. I even took a few shots to the back of my bald head from a snowball fight. It's not often we see snow around here so even the little bit we have today mixed with the mud is worth it just to have a reason to get out there with the boys and have fun.

It's kind of funny what snow does, at least here in the south. The only thing that is important today is SNOW. Many stores are closing down this afternoon. Sherry's mom just called to tell us her church was canceled for tomorrow. The TV has been off all day and the boys haven't even concerned themselves with watching WWE (thank goodness). What else matters today, but snow?

Or could it be that snow really reminds of what truly matters? Being with family, enjoying one another's company, being thankful for the things we have absolutely no control over. What else matters?
